D2L Ignite Regional User Forum in Wisconsin, November 8th, 2013

I am cordially inviting you, your faculty and colleagues to participate in Wisconsin D2L Ignite Regional User Forum on Nov 8. Mark your calendar! Details below:

Desire2Learn will be hosting their first regional conference in Wisconsin on November 8, at the Sheraton Madison Hotel in Madison. This event is similar to the annual Fusion User Conference (the most recent one held in Boston in July). It gives an opportunity to faculty, staff, and interested parties to attend locally without incurring much travel expenses and time commitment. UWS is co-sponsoring  and planning the program for this one day event.

This will be a great venue for sharing, networking, and idea exchange for those involved in online teaching and learning. Topics will focus on online technology and pedagogy which may or may not be directly related to D2L. Please encourage your faculty and instructors to present, or attend. Discount rate for attendance applies to a group of 10 attending from a single institution. Call for proposal to present deadline is Sept 9.

Details can be found at: http://desire2learn.com/events/ignite/wisconsin/2013/proposals/

Please feel free to let me know if you have questions. Please help spread the word!

Looking forward to seeing colleagues from Minnesota on Nov 8.
