Tapping the Potential of All Students: Undergraduate Research at Community Colleges

This conference is to bring together faculty, from community colleges and beyond, who are developing undergraduate research programs. The conference will include plenary sessions by Robert Full, Professor of Integrative Biology, University of California, Berkeley; Tia Brown McNair, Senior Directory for Student Success, Association of American Colleges & Universities; and Celeste Carter, Program Director, Division of Undergraduate Education, National Science Foundation.

A panel of community college student researchers will open the conference. There will also be concurrent sessions that will highlight emerging and advanced undergraduate research programs. The pre-conference workshop, led by Niccole Cerveny, Craig Longtine and Kalyn Owens, will focus on developing campus based undergraduate research programs.
