One World Week: Eating, Drinking & Working in the World

 One World Week is a week of celebrating cultural diversity, packed full of activities including dance, music, film, spoken word, discussions on global issues and their effects on culture, and the role of education and curriculum in preparing MCTC students to succeed in an increasingly globalized world.

Tentative schedule of the weeks activities:

Monday, March 4: One World Week Kick-Off: Culture and Community: 10-2 T Skyway.  Student organization fair w/ fun & festivities, World Music & Dance, MCTC community invited to dress in traditional dress all week
Tuesday, March 5: Academic Connections Day
Wednesday, March 6: Food, Fun & Transfer/Study Abroad Fair in T Skyway, Films: Precious Knowledge, and Ratatouille, food from Chez Arnaud and presentation from Arnaud of Chez Arnaud in Helland Center
Thursday, March 7: Global Voice, Global Climate: more food!, screening of Iraq, Finally, open mic “Storytelling in Many Languages”
Friday, March 8: International Women’s Day: more food!, dance, presentations discussion women and water in different cultures
